| Aiming at a world "model plant" which is kind to the earth environment The plant of Kayaku Akzo Corporation is rated high as a world "model plant" among many associated plants of Akzo Nobel by its newest production facilities, up-to-the minute manu-facturing technology, safety know-how, thorough antipollution measures for the circumference, and environmental measures for the earth. In 1996, we obtained ISO9001, the international standards of quality control system in enterprises. In1999,we also obtained ISO 14001, the international standards of environmental control and superintendence. Particularly,we are eagerly tackling environmental measures, considering the harmony with environment as our most important theme.
