Kayaku Akzo Corporation was born from the tie-up of Japanese and international technologies.
The foundation of our company dates away back to 1963 when Nippon KayakuCo., Ltd. started the manufacturing and sales of organic peroxide.
In August 1970, aiming at a further development, Kayaku Noury Corporation was established under joint management of Nippon Kayaku and Koninkrijke Industrieele Maatschapij Noury and van der Lande, NV, that had more than 50% share in the European and American organic peroxide market. Then, as a part of global CI strategy of Akzo (actual Akzo Nobel), an international company mainly located in Holland that subordinated Noury in 1972, our company name was changed into "Kayaku Akzo Corporation" in April 1989.
